school starts today! last to reach sch in my class again!hahaha.
it's the same for every year, the first day of school.
in wisdom now~
anyway, this was wat we did.
decide on who be monitor,subject rep.,etc.
i'm GEOG subject leader! teacher said:" u be, i think u can get along well with miss tan."LOL.
then we played captain's ball for class bonding, which was okay. played for a while only cos after that we have photo-taking and we were in our uniform.
then e-lit teacher came and claimed herself as very kiasu, that's why she wants to talk to us before lesson talks next week. she gave us tons of homework. like nid to read dunno how many pages and do 9 pages of questions. i like strict and maybe fierce YET most of the time, resonable teachers.(example,i like ms leong, who ppl nicknamed as molly.) however, this time, this teacher, she seems to use threat to control the class.
the class was quiet. i got slightly irritated with her that i looked out of the classroom and clicked my pen a bit. according to weilin, the teacher looked at me when i clicked my pen. oh well.she even asked one of my classmate's name cos maybe she was talking? no idea but i didn't hear any talking at all.
apparently, my form teacher's nice.
she's quite funny. told us her short love story and family. her name's maria. dunno her surname. when she entered the class, she told us to greet her but then when she reach the teacher's desk, she was like, "why u guys standing? sit down." she thought we greeted her already.hahaha.
my classmate standing in front of me is audrey's best friend. she likes yaoi. likes sasuxnaru,itaxsasu(i went "GAH!" at this, cos yuan lin calls herself sasu.hahaha! and i'm itachi.)and sasuxnaruxsaku.LOL.
she's kinda funny. she talk to teacher can talk like "damn" or sth. DO NOT GET THE WRONG IDEA. she's nice and teachers like her too.
hui jun's in my class too! my class has 3 "charyl/cheryl"s and 2 "rachel"s.=D
oro,dei and I walked past the ex-Wisdom classroom and yuan lin and I were saying that Hope is such a lucky class for being able to use our ex-classroom, the nicest and happiest class ever!" Wisdom is the only orange-painted classroom, painted by Wisdom and mr choo, who has left the sch alrd, and the painter! wisdom is a really nice class!~ 2008 was great! let 2009 be wonderful too!~

the little nyonya

On the 27th Dec, there was the only fan meeting of the little nyonya at compass point.
reached there when it was over, yet compass point was still overly crowded. barely enuff space to walk, we had to squeeze thr the crowd to get to the other end of compass point, to escape from the overwhelming crowd.
the escalators were stopped, all four levels of compass point crowded with people looking down to catch a better view of the stars without having to "suffocate" on the first floor.
escalators were filled with people looking down at the stars as well. the escalators were stopped thus they could all stop and stand there.
we and many others were amazed by the crowd rather than the stars. the scene was so funny lar!
the tiles of compass point cracked and some fans even dressed up as little nyonyas.HHAHA:)
as for me, i couldn't even catch a glimpse of any of the stars as i was late and besides, i wasn't interested to squeeze thr the crowd jus to see the stars. i ran for the comic connections shop instead.:D

YAY! THE OLYMPICS IS REALLY NICE AND EXCITING!

the battle between Lin Dan from China and Lee Chong Wei from malaysia, world no.1 and2 in badmnton respectively was very cool. badminton fights are always nice,same goes for tennis. Lin Dan jumps very high, when he jumps, it was like momo jumping.and his shots were like momo's too, very powerful and fast strokes. to think it can be found in real life. It was a nice fight though. the excitment and tension of the game was there. looking forward to london oympics already. oh yes, and of course, the youth olympics.go Singapore!=D

singapore's long-awaited,48 years, meadal has finally arrived! "sliver but they are our golden girls" says a newspaper article in the Straits Times. China Doubles was such a pairing. World no. 1 doubles together with world no. 2 . WOW. Singapore did well against China though.Singapore's team and China's team AND Korea's team are all marvellous. they played with style, with spirit. They showed great determination and resilience during the game.oh the "cool" word reminds me of senior's quote ,: "LIB is cool" then in fine print, " because of the air-con". very funny. she always makes me laugh.

ytd marked the start of the Beijing Olympics Games! at 8.08 pm on the 8/8/08, the opening ceremony for the Beijing Olymipcs Games began! notice all the 8s, so cool!=D

let's talk abt ytd first!
ytd was a very fun day! reached sch at 9am to celebrate national day! were told that we would get to meet the president, take the pledge, blah,blah,blah. the heartware ppl were like telling us and making us excited abt the event. in the end, we didnt get to see the president and we didnt even tae the pledge. sam said she did though at 12nn. no one in st.nicks along my lane were except for sam. n i was like waiting for a prayer! Zzzzzz... ...

but ytd, was fun.
listening to radio and music and talking and eating and most importantly, reading naruto and tried to cosplay a little by wearing a naruto glove while celebrating national day! sitting outside the school, along the lane outside our sch gate was part of the project, so we practically sat there for 3hours under the hot,blazing sun. HAHA. IM EXAGGERATING. it wasnt hot at all. it was kinda cooling! YAY! celebrated national day with naruto!

the whole stretch of sec 2s along the lane including us, were like waving to every driver and passager in the vehicles that drove by. every driver, thr some way,tried to wave bck. one driver even raised both hands to wave bck at us which caused the vehicle to slant a little in either left or right, then he quickly put down his hands and began driving again. there were two passengers in the bus, they responded to our waves by putting the 'twist' hand sign u do when u play catching which was darn hilarious.

then at 1pm, we were dismissed. went to meet carolyn and jia yun then we went to the canteen for a light snack. after that, we went to the food center for lunch.carolyn suggested taking bus 262 instead of 265. we were fine with it so we took bus 262, then we asked carolyn," u sure this bus will take us to AMK?" she was like," i think so... ..." then jia yun and i were like AHHHH! " u think so?!"cos the bus was taking very long to reach AMK. turned out that, carolyn only knew that bus 26_sth other than 265 and 269 will take us to AMK. she dunno if bus 262 will take us there or not. HAHAHA. we reached there anyway.

For lunch, i ate laksa. it was... ... spicy. i was struggling with the laksa, gulping down a cup of refreshing ice lemon tea. jia yun and carolyn had to wait for me for a very longgggggg time. they ate western food. they bought one plate of chicken chop and shared it. and they could actully say they were full already. cant believe it. the chicken chop as darn little. anyway, after that we went to compass point and went to comics connection,action city, popular, mini toons,op,converse,royal sporting hse, some random shop and the gift shop. we went there to buy birthday presents.we bought 3 from comic connections,action city and the gift shop. spent the most time at comic connections. was very fun, well cause, it's animes/manga ! tried to find a DGM stuff there for audrey, but couldn't find any. i mean there are DGM necklances there, but i dun think audrey will wear them anyway. it's allen walker. if it's lavi or kanda, then maybe she will wear them.

just thought of sth, did jia yun actually want to share with me audrey's present?
cos i noe that we were sharing carolyn's present then i forgot and thought we were sharing audrey's and carolyn's present,since she haben buy audrey's present yet. no wonder, jia yun was like blur blur like that. what a blunder. shall ask her in sch on tues.

then after that, we went to the nearby food center to find the vending machine that sells the naruto glove audrey bought for me.it was... ... NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Zzzzzzzz... ... jia yun made a wasted trip. LOL. was very fun though. then i walked with them bck to the bus stop and since we were walking a lot the whole day, they were tired and they complained i was walking too fast. LOL. then after sending them to the bus stop, carolyn asked me how far must i walk to reach home. i was like using my hands and saying walk there until the traffic light then turn left, walk n, then turn right, cross the road again, then turn right, then straight i then left again and straight in. and she was like, " huh? so far?! we walk bck with u then we walk bck ourselves here lar." ==" wait they dunno how to walk bck. so ya, i walked bck alone, which was fun also!=D

made an improved version cheer with jia yun! we will repeat the move 10 times and while we are at it, we will say one toten in japanese! LOL. want to make a cheer with everyone in our clique too! i can imagine weilin's maybe sam's face when i suggest us making a cheer. i think they will be like ==" LOL. they are very funny and fun ppl!

finished both in like half the time given for the test!=D
but i made many mistakes in the physics test.
after school also had a science ppt presentation,
ms leong said tt our presentation,powerpoint,everything is good BUT out of point!
and she said it like it wasnt a big problem!
being out of point means we fail right? usually is like tt!
but oh well.

YAY! indian dance compeition ytd was FUN! though we didnt come out top, who cares? we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! it was SOOO FUN!

after sch ytd, had CCA. BORING. kept yawning. was very distracted. didnt feel like paying attention, didnt feel like warming up.didnt feel like telling the story.

after the sci presentation and lunch, did designing of 5 diff. themes on ten thumbnails. happy,sad,dispersed,order and gathering. with weilin and sam.

jiayun, audrey and I went to visit the clocktower.before we left we were like announcing that we are going ghost-hunting at the clocktower. renee and charmaine visited it b4 and they got locked inside, after a while though, they manageed to open e door. ya and we were telling ppl to call e police if we do not get bck on time for CCA.when we reached the staircase leading to the clocktower, we noticed there was a camera. i think e clocktower is sort of restricted to students but nevertheless, we opened the door to e clocktower and we saw how beautiful it is. the scene was breath-taking. it is simply a place which did not get any disturbance/disruptions from our modern city filled with pollutants. it is simply beautiful beyond words.

our school is so big, there mus be more of such beautiful places. no wonder Tofu and jia yun goes explring so often. mus do more exploring next time!

oh ya. and we did get bck on time, right on e dot for CCA.

CCA

ytd, on thurs, CCA was fun! we had to write our own story in 10min and act it act! I acted as Cinderbolla, just like a modern day Cinderella,however he was fat. At this, i puffed my cheeks and made a few actions to show fat. then the story continued, Cinderbolla supposedly met the "Deal or No Deal" girl at Orchard Road and got very excited. I waved my air in the air chowing excitement. come to think of it, it seems like i was surrending. then hui min, who acted as the "Deal or No Deal" girl had to act that she was all shy and everything and run away or walk away midst the crowd? then hui min got so engrossed in her acting that she ran the opposite way and our instructor kept on saying "the stage is here. the stage is here." haha, so funny lar. everyone was laughing, including us. then, as we all noe, Cinderella lost her shoe. So the story carries on like this, Cinderbolla had to run to get to the girl amidst the crowd, had to squeeze and everything, oh and did i mention?he did that to get her autograph. then,Cinderbolla fell,and i had to act falling. haha. i rmb when i was rehearsing, i attempted to fall down then han wen thought i was attempting a split. LOL. i wasnt attempting a split okay! i can do a split, well, sort of. oh ya, bck to e acting, i had to fall down but before that, i had to throw off one side of my shoe. then i forgot and btw, throwing off the shoe is important in the story, so after i fell, i got up and threw my shoe off then fell down again. so funny. then hui min picked up the shoe and went to me, and said "is this urs?" then the story ended. audrey and carolyn did a great job of narrating! audrey added this cool line at the end of the story after hui min asked me if that shoe was mine. audrey said, " the rest of the story is left up to our imagination." or sth like that. Guess why we said that? bcos there was not enuff time for us to finish the story! we were only given 10 min! but that sentence by audrey was pro. we didnt add that in the story. she added that line at the last min and on the spot! YAY! success! oh yes, and when hui min was asking me, " is this ur shoe?" i was on the floor and i backed away, becos she held my shoe so very close to my mouth! oh ya, i "added" one line on my own. i said," i dun get it. i dun get it." after i fell and i said that bcos i didnt get the story after a while of acting and guess wat? ppl tot tt, i was saying tt as part of my script and it looked very real. like maybe they think after i fell and couldnt catch up with the gal, i felt fustrated or sth. LOL. so very funny.
there was this gal, called Megan, sec1. she acted so darn well. so DRAMA. she had to say her story in four diff tones or 3? excited,bored,agitated or sth? aiya, i dunno wat tone lar. but she did the tones very well.
btw, our instructor is an actor from chl U and acts in the show, plastic surgery.

after CCA... ...
walked to the bus stop outside sch with audrey and carolyn. then saw weilin opp of the road there the bus stop with vivian,patricia and fiona. and weilin was like" LEHCAR! i give u the $2 buy french toast, no chg one ar!" then i replied, " oh ya!" then i went to press the traffic button, preparing to cross the road. then weilni said," LEHCAR! no nid to return to me now! return me tmr also can!" but i wanted to gif her the chg on tt day, which was ytd. so i still crossed the road and i walked SLOWLY. took my time. but after walking 3/4 of the road i decided to dash towards weilin's bus stop and rush bck to where audrey and carolyn were standing(btw, they didnt cross the road) in the same traffic light. so after i passed weilin her chg, i ran bck and according to them, the traffic light turned red when i ruch bck that time halfway of the road and i was like REALLY?! i tot that it only turned red after i reached carolyn and audrey who were waiting for me at e opp of e road.carolyn said that after reached the other end of the road, then the vehicles moved, like waiting for me like tt! haha.i was like omg, i broke the traffic rules.
i was afraid the sch might noe abt me breaking e traffic rules, though accidently and mrs goh wuld be talking abt it the next day, which means on today's assembly. luckily, she didnt. means the sch dun noe abt it. PHEW!

k, let me talk abt today!
today had history common test! was okay, i guess. was like only basic knowledge of the chap without e nid of memorising anything at all. i knew that bcos i didnt memorise or anything, i just like read thr. so this test, as long as u read thr and have a brief idea of wat the chap is abt, u'll pass. and realise i only said PASS. means i dunno if i will pass with flying colours or nt! hope i will! wanna get band 1 this term.YAY!
had lunch with jia yun and yuan lin today. jia yun and i after eating lunch, had a whacky idea. we bought 2 ice-creams EACH and decided to eat both the ice-creams at once. i ate chocolate and jia yun vanilla. then we went to the family lounge there, the garden there to eat ice-cream. my chocolate ice-cream melted at lightning speed. k, im nt very gd with descriptive phrases.jia yun dropped part of her cone down onto the bridge and she kicked it into the gaps between the wooden planks of the bridge. she made it worse. now it would nv be cleared. and more ants will come. and the ants will clear it,hopefully.haha.
later i did duty with jia yun and jia yun told me ghost stories. AHHH. the story isnt scary actually and some how the way jia yun said it was scary. jia yun is very gd at orals. she read a rather profound poem to yuan lin which she made herself and she managed to make the poem so touching that yuan lin teared. jia yun really noes when to pause and everything. *claps*
oh but btw, she made it so scary, she scared herself too.LOL. we were like asking weilin they all to accompany us and vivian was the only kind soul to help out chk out for "ghosts". but we knew there wasnt anyone there and there wanst any ghosts but when u r already thinking that there's a ghost existence somewhere,u cant help but think that there really is. but we soon got over it and did our duty properly and dilligently.right.
ALMOST had indian dance rehearsal today.lucky last min cancelled.couldnt decide whether to go or nt go for the rehearsal bcos my indian dance partner, Adeline, wasnt going. she had guides i think.
during PE, maryanne hit the volleyball by accident onto ms Leong's head. and Ms leong made her bring the trunk of volleyballs bck into the PE storeroom. i wanted to help her and tell weilin and sam to join me. but they said it was sort of maryanne's "punishment", i brought bck to the trunk to maryanne and ms Leong there and left it for maryanne. haha. the scene must have looked funny cos weilin and sam were laughing away. like i already pushed it up the inclined lane and cos i heard maryanne was supposed to do it, i ran bck down the inclined lane and returned it bck to maryanne who was talking to ms leong. haha. then walked bck to class with them and met sabs,elena and xinhoon, who was on crutches due to a fracture in her leg. then she had to HOP up the long flights of stairs all theway to the classroom and i bet with weilin that i could HOP all the way up to class too and so xinhoon told me to hop with her. and we were like supporting each other, hopping on one foot.very funny. but uh, i sort of like tripped and ya, stopped hopping even before i reached the classroom. then xinhoon carried on hopping on her own. she is fit sia! imagine hopping on one leg the WHOLE day.
chinese lesson today was interesting!

on sat/sun at 9 am +++, a p6 st.nicks gal, her nxt yr p1 sisters and her mother got into a car accident.
only the p6 st.nicks gal is still unconscious. her 6 year old sisters and herself are still in ICU.
apparently a lorry driver dashed the red light and as they were crossing the pedestrian crossing, they got knocked down. fasten ur tears! dun let ur tears fall!
let's all pray for them and wish them a speedy recovery.
tt's all we can do now.

had an indian dance class rehearsal today! quite funny!
we were supposed to split ourselves into 2 grps, one grp be the males, the other the females for the indian dance.
wanted to be a male de. but very lazy to move. so decided to be a female. AHHH,but we r supposed to wear a very long skirt, so must go n buy.
then stupid wan ting asked me, "rachel u gal ar?"
then i said, "YA. "
then she said, "i tot u very boy one? "
then i said, "nt as boy as u."
then she said, ok irealise im using lots of THEN, "u more boy than me lor, i think."

LOL. yuan lin says that wan ting and i make a lot of noise during lessons. but today, lame wan ting came up with a lame game and we were supposed to not talk to each other. the first to talk will be a tortoise. but i guess we were still laughing ard wif our hand signs and stuff that we made lots of noise.

yuan lin and jia yun said the F word today. a few times. yuan lin said it very loudly, i mean real loud. her voice is loud as it is.

during recess, went to 3 Truth and i put the birthday card that i made for Ting Yuan under my present for her. wait she dunno it's from me. there are lots of RACHELs around.

tmr, yuan lin, jia yun and carolyn are going to shop for my birthday present. jia yun asked me wat i want for my birthday present. i said i want the lastest issue of shonen jump! WAH very expensive.i was joking though. it's too expensive. it's like $12++?

haben buy carolyn's birthday present yet when her birthday is like on 19 june? she said she want sth purple. dunno wat to buy. i dunno wat she like anyway.

cant wait for 19 july. it's SKIPPING day!
